GMG survives street fight in Long Beach to finish second in ALMS GT-C -

April 20, 2010 (Santa Ana, Calif.) – Rebounding from a disappointing result at the season-opening 12 Hours of Sebring, GMG Racing let the teams of the American Le Mans Series know they mean business by running up front in GT-C throughout the Tequila Patron American Le Mans Series at Long Beach. Qualifying second for the 100-minute sprint race, the No.32 GMG / Spectra Resources Porsche 911 GT3 Cup ran in second place for the early part of the race as Curtis, who started the race, drove impressively with the race leaders even through lapped traffic.

A pitstop cycle saw the GMG Porsche drop to third place, as Curtis exited the car and Sofronas re-entered the race in third position. Running right behind the two leading cars throughout the final portion of the race, Sofronas was able to move up to second place and finish the race right on the bumper of the winner. In only their third start in the ALMS, the GMG Racing team... Read More

GMG WC- Green House covers

GMG is proud to offer our race proven "green house" covers for the 996 and 997 models.
We developed these covers in our motorsport program over the years. We found as cars sit out on the paddock or pre-grid in 100F+ degree temperatures the interior cabin temperatures can be as high as 150 degrees F resulting in an instant oven for the drivers. With the covers in place the interior temperatures are kept down to a minimum Less driver fatigue results in better performance on the track.

These covers are an easy fit to all 996 and 997 vehicles and are held in place at the A and C pillars by magnets to hold the cover in place. The street versions all receive a security strap which can be routed into the window when the door is closed and secured to minimize the chances of someone trying to remove it from your vehicle.

Made from NASA (space shuttle)ultralighweight heat reflective material which reflects upto 98% of the suns rays keeping your interior temperatures down. The inner liner is scratch resistant and design not to scratch your delicate finish.

Covers can be easily stored in your trunk and are great alternative to big bulky car covers which are not only difficult to store and install but have a tendency to scratch your finish if the car is not perfectly clean. These covers install within seconds and keep the temp down in your interior whether you are at a track day or your car is parked at the office
