Global Motorsports Group announces 2010 entry in ALMS GT-C -

February 18, 2010 (Santa Ana, Calif.) - For the past several seasons, Orange County, California-based Global Motorsports Group has defined European car performance in the competitive sprint racing of Speed World Challenge. While it will still continue with that program, GMG is expanding its racing operations to include a full time entry in the new Grand Touring Challenge class in the American Le Mans Series.

2009: James ran in multiple series for 2009:
-Speed GT / 997 WC Cup car: Finished 2nd in the Drivers Championship with 2 poles, 2 wins, 4 podiums, 6 top 5’s and 9 top 10’s.
-Rolex GT 24 Hours of Daytona / 997 Cup car: Finished 7th in Class out of 30 cars.
-ALMS Challenge Class / 997 Cup car: Finished 5th in Class with Bret Curtis at Laguna Seca
-PCA Club Race / 997 Cup car: Finished 1st overall with Brent Holden at Miller Motorsports Park PCA Enduro and Auto Club Speedway PCA Enduro
-Porsche Owners Club / 997 WC Cup car: Finished 1st overall from pole position at Willow Springs Raceway
-BMW Club Racing / BMW M3: Finished 2nd overall, 1st in class for both races with new track record at Willow Springs Raceway


2008: James ran in both World Challenge Speed GT and Touring Car Series as well as a guest drive for BGB in Koni GS class.
-Speed GT / 997 WC Cup car: Finished 4th in Drivers Championship with 1 win, 2 top 5’s and 9 top 10’s.
-Speed Touring Car / BMW E46 325ci: Ran 2 races at Lime Rock, with a 4th and 9th place finish
-Koni Challenge / 997 GS Car: Finished 14th out of 30 cars at the Miller event


2007: James ran in both the Speed GT and Touring Car Series:
-Speed Touring Car / BMW E46 325ci: Finished 7th out of 43 drivers overall, with 2 podiums (second place twice), 3 top 5's, and 7 top 10's.
-Speed GT / 997 Cup car: Finished 11th out of 55 drivers overall, with 1 top 5 and 5 top 10's.

2006: Finished 8th out of 61 drivers in Speed World Challenge GT Championship with 3 top 5's and 5 top 10's.

2005: Speed GT - James finished 15 out of 62 drivers in the Speed World Challenge GT Championship while only running in only 50% of the races.
- Finished 3rd place at Lime Rock, 5th at Laguna and 6th at Road Atlanta
- Competed in Grand Am Cup in a BMW M3 and secured pole and track record at Mosport GAC race.

2004: Speed Touring Car - Finish 4th out of 58 drivers in the Speed Touring Car Championship. James ran the full 10-event SPEED Touring Car slate, recording 2 top 3's, 4 top 5's and nine top-10 finishes in a BMW 325Ci.

History:
- 2003 Speed World Challenge Touring: 9th place finish at Laguna Seca
- 2002 BMW Club Racing Series: 7 poles and 7 wins in 9 races entered (24 Overall Consecutive wins in BMW Club Racing since 1997, a record!!)
- 2002 Touring Car Racing Association: 1 pole and 1 win in 1 race entered
- 2001 CHAMPION - United States Touring Car Championship: 4 poles and 5 wins in 7 races
- 2001 SCCA World Challenge GT: Finished 14th in points (62 competitors) BMW M3 GT
- 1994 NARRC and NERRC Champion driving a Nissan NX2000 in SSB in SCCA Competition
