10/3 Atlanta, Ga - James Sofronas finished 7th in round 10 at Road Atlanta, after passing Michael Galati on lap 10, taking the 4th spot overall in the Speed GT Championship standings for 2008. Dino Crescentini started the race in an impressive 4th place and ran in the top 5 until the final laps when the car went into limp mode and he had to cruise for a 15th place result.

09/27 New Jersey, NY - James Sofronas jumped into his #14 GMG Racing Porsche 911 GT3 from the front row and took the lead on the first lap and led every lap on his way to the win in Round 9 of the SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge GT Championships on the new NJ Motorsports Park race track, thus clinching the Manufacturer's Championship for Porsche for 2009. This result also closed the gap between James and Michael Galati as they fight for a top 5 Championship finish for the 2009 season. After changing cars, Dino Crescentini started from the back of the pack and managed a very hard-fought 10th place finish in the other GMG/Stoptech 911 GT3.

GMG WC Sport lowering springs for 997TT
GMG is proud to introduce its "World Challenge" Sport Lowering spring sets for Porsche 997TT. Designed,tested and developed with Eibach the GMG WC Sport Lowering Spring sets are made to GMG's exact specifications. Unlike some most tuners who simply take an off the shelf lowering spring and rebrand it with their name, we choose to develop a completely new design that would not only improve the handling of the 997TT but would also improve the comfort and ride quality while maintaining maximum control and remaining fully compatible with the Porsche Active Stability Management (PASM) dampers.

GMG's relationship has been very strong for many years through our World Challenge Motorsport program and as "tuning partner" both companies knew that they needed to come up with a spring design that would set the standard. After testing all the various manufacturers springs we quickly discovered that the majority of springs companies who were making springs for the 997TT were actually making the spring with softer rate to achieve the lowered ride height. While this achieves the desired look it does absolutely nothing for the performance of the vehicle and in most cases as with the 997TT it would have a negative effect on the vehicle handling making it worse than factory.

We could have easily jumped on the band wagon and done the same. But, we decided to develop a spring that would improve the cars performance and the day to day characteristics. A stock set of dampers were sent out to Eibach to be tested to see what kind of spring rate they could control while still maintaining reliability. After several tests and several spring design changes we finally achieved our goal. A truly progressive step less pitch design that offered the lowered look everyone is looking for while improving the handling and ride comfort of the vehicle. The GMG WC Sport Lowering Springs are designed to work with the factory shocks both in stock mode and sport mode. We feel that our formula for the GMG (WC) World Challenge Sport Lowering Springs is the best in the world.

To further improve the handling of your 997TT we recommend our GMG WC Sport Sway bar kit which is 3 way adjustable front and rear and fully compatible with stock drop links and have no issues with front axle interference.

GMG WC 997TT Sway Bar Kit
MG has worked with Eibach to develop the GMG WC sport sway bar kit for 997TT owners. The sway bars are 3 way adjustable front and 3 way adjustable. Rear sport sway bars are over 50%, front 30% stiffer than the factory bar's and are supplied with urethane bushings and offer the most tensional rigidity on the market today. Will work with stock suspension or coil over kits. Designed specifically for the 997TT these bars are a direct bolt on replacement with no need for additional sway bar end links. There are also no problems with front axle clearance like with other sway bars on the market.

Over 1 year of development work with our Speed GT WC- 997 GT3 Cup cars and Eibach to develop the ultimate bolt on anti-roll bar upgrade for your 997GT3 and 997GT3RS. GMG Is proud to be the first tuner world wide to offer a complete bolt on anti-roll bar upgrade the GT3 and RS. Racing in the Speed GT series and running on a DOT R- Compound tire has allowed us to use the data and knowledge gained over the years and apply it to a street/track bolt on anti roll bar kit that improves the handling of your car without costing thousands of dollars like the bladed racing versions that we run on our race cup cars.

Ideal for anyone who is looking to dial in or dial out negative camber. A factory Motorsport part these adjustable control arms are the same as used on the Porsche Cup race cars. GMG 996-997 WC Toe Steer Kit
GMG's WC toe steer kit has been tested in proven in motorsports for over 5 years. A direct replacement toe steer arm for all 996 models (C2,C4,996TT,GT2,GT3,Cup,RS,RSR) and all 997 models (C2,C4,997TT,GT3,GT3RS,GT3Cup). This is an ideal upgrade for street or track cars and features Indy car Teflon lined rod end for years of use with any noise. 996 and 997 models have toe steer issues under heavy use and this toe steer kit will help minimize this suspension geometry change. If you have lowered your 996 or 997 you may have a problem when having it aligned and correcting the rear toe. The GMG WC toe steer kit allows you to adjust the toe at the toe steer arm and not at the factory eccentric which does not have enough adjustment.

GMG WC 996 and 997 link (Dog Bone) Kit


Developed and tested over thousands of miles of racing and street driving. Our fully adjustable rear dog bones are the highest quality links on the market period,made of machined aluminum billet rod (6061) hard anodized and include Indy car rod ends. This is a great way to improve the handling and feedback from your Porsche.

Our rear dog bone kit is the only proper way to correct the rear geometry of your lowered 996 & 997 Porsche. If your car is lowered, chances are you are prematurely wearing out your rear tires with the additional negative camber you have in the rear. The factory eccentric rear does not offer enough adjustment to properly re-align your car to specs. Our links allow you to properly correct the geometry of your rear suspension.

  - 4 Links ,8 rod ends and 16 machined bushings.
  - Requires NO modification to chassis, direct bolt on replacement part.   - Can be used on daily driven street cars, links do not transmit road harshness into the cabin.
